Donate now and Rewrite a Story

Foster care statistics are distressing, but together, we can change them.

Pathways programs provide valuable resources – a proven solution – to thousands of children, youth, and families across Texas. Your donation supports essential foster care, adoption, and important behavioral health programs that are rewriting life stories for hundreds of Texas youth each year.

Below are several ways you can support a child in need. Together we build a stronger, more resilient community, one child at a time.

Employee Matching

Did you know that many employers match employee donations, which can double—or even triple—an employee’s contributions? Simply ask your HR department if your employer has a matching program. If so, determine what form you need to complete to get your gift matched, and make sure to include a copy of your donation receipt in your request. Here are some common answers to questions employer forms typically request:

Organization Name: Pathways Youth and Family Services, Inc.
Mailing Address: 222 Sidney Baker Street S, Suite 435, Kerrville, TX 78028
Phone: 830-515-4343
Website: pathway.org
Tax ID: # 74-2631080

Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)

A donor-advised fund is a philanthropic investment account, which supports the charities you care about. Here are three steps to make a gift to Pathways through a DAF account: First, contact your DAF administrator and recommend making a gift to Pathways. Then, choose the frequency of your gift (one-time, annually, etc). Finally, add Pathways as a beneficiary of your DAF account.

Benefits of giving to Pathways through your DAF account include making a tax-deductible donation, growing your donation through investments, and supporting charities of your choice.

Leave a Legacy Gift

Planned giving is for everyone, not just the wealthy. Every gift counts, and a simple designation can transform the lives of the youth and families we serve. Adding a bequest in your will is simple, and you don’t have to choose between leaving a gift for your family or a charity—you can do both! If you have already left Pathways Youth and Family Services in your will, or if you plan to do so, please let us know so we can show our appreciation and better plan for the future.

Simple ways to leave a legacy gift:

  • Add a bequest in your will or trust to Pathways
  • Make Pathways a beneficiary in your retirement fund (IRA, 401 K, 403(b))
  • Add Pathways as a beneficiary on your life insurance policy
  • Give a gift of life insurance cash value (policy no longer needed)
