Accreditations and Certifications

Council On Accreditation

Pathways Youth & Family Services has achieved accreditation through the Council on Accreditation (COA) for its Child Placing Agency, Mosaic Behavioral Health, and two specialized residential treatment programs, Habilitative Homes and 3H Youth Ranch. Founded in 1977, COA is an independent, not-for-profit accreditor of community-based behavioral health care and social service organizations in the United States and Canada. Organizations pursue accreditation to demonstrate the implementation of best practice standards by evaluating programs, services, management, and administration. Over 2,000 organizations – voluntary, public, and proprietary; local and statewide; large and small – have either successfully achieved COA accreditation or are currently engaged in process.
Accreditation validates Pathways’ commitment to providing quality services to its clients; demonstrates its compliance with regulations, laws, and judicial orders; and showcases its ability to execute the best practices necessary to show measurable results.

Candid

Pathways constantly strives for excellence. Candid’s Platinum Seal of Transparency is recognition of that excellence. Candid, formerly known as GuideStar, is the world’s largest source of information about nonprofit organizations. The Platinum Seal is the highest level of recognition offered and is bestowed on organizations that commit to being transparent and share meaningful information and statistics about the organization. Achieving Platinum level means that Pathways provides donors and funders the ability to evaluate our performance and worthiness as a recipient of their charity. Platinum status puts Pathways in the top 0.1% of all national charities.
